10 Years of Art in a Book
My book “Utopia” is finally printed and should have been shipped to all of you who pre-ordered a copy.
If you haven’t received your copy, please reach out to them and if they don’t get back to you within a week, let me know and I’ll help you get it sorted!
Thank you again for all of you who made this book project possible. It’s been one of those incredibly intense and scary projects, that almost didn’t make it. It was a difficult experience altogether.
The book is fairly big and heavy and traces 10 years of my art.
It’s starts off chronological, showing where I started, how my work evolved towards the art on trash sculpture I am now known for.
And then it’s by theme, dissecting the different intellectual approaches I have toward my work. I really tried to explain what I’m trying to convey through my work. I also added a lot of working sketches when I had some.
I wrote this book both in English and French, and my talented artist friend Ellen Jewett wrote the most beautiful foreword. I also thought out the layout, with minor tweaking of the press house.
Truly made this book mostly by myself, the press house handling mostly printing and logistics.
The book traces back all the sculptures I have done from 2015 to 2025 in a neat little catalog at the end.
I also added a few paintings here and there, when I thought it was fitting. I originally had planned to make this book only about my sculptures, but I thought it was unfair to my painting practice. It still is very sculpture heavy.
I also decided on a size that is approximatively the same as my coloring book. So if you already ordered the coloring book they will go nicely together!
If you missed out, you can get a copy here, shipping is calculated at check-out.
Below a few pictures of the book!
I’m quite happy with how it turned out in the end!
I hope that those of you who got it, really loved it too!
And if you always wanted to support my work, getting a copy is a good way to do so!
Thank you so much again!
