FAQs
PRICE
Commissions start at 1000 euro. Specific prices vary greatly depending on what you have in mind, most of my sculptures tend to be around 2000 euro. The final price will be discussed with you, when we talk about details.
DEPOSIT
I ask for a deposit before starting on a piece. This ensures the client is serious about this commission and I can start working with a peace of mind.
PAYMENT PLANS
I am happy to offer a payment plan for any artwork or custom commission.
Simply ask and explain your situation. I have done payment plans in the past, spanning generally over a few months.
The artwork will be shipped upon receiving the last payment.
USING YOUR OBJECT
I am very happy to use your personal object as a base for my sculptures.
You will need to ship it to me at your own cost.
TIME FRAME?
My work takes time. The bare minimum for a sculpture is three weeks but it can span over months. Especially if there is a lot of back and forth with the collector.
Rush orders might be accepted, depending on my schedule, but at a higher price.
HANDLING & SHIPPING
I carefully create custom boxes for each of my sculptures using cardboard. It is quite time consuming, but the best way I found to ship my artwork safely.
I ship worldwide using courrier, DHL, FedEx or Chronopost. Usually the shipping takes just a few days from France, where I live.
Depending on countries, custom fees might be applicable.
FRAMING
I don’t ship my paintings on paper framed, as I prefer using glass and shipping glass is not only expensive but risky.
Framing can also be done anywhere in the world, so it’s just easier to frame it locally.
Bear in mind framing can get expensive. However I would highly recommend using museum “no-reflection” glass, as it’s going to make the artwork more visible.
ARCHIVAL?
I have done extensive pigment research and only use colors that are perfectly lightfast.
I have been working with different clays over almost two decades now (time flies!) and I make everything I can to properly seal and varnish when needed. I only use PH neutral glue and professional grade art supplies.
I tend to use old objects or trash, which I will sometimes paint or varnish to ensure they last in time.
