A miniature sculpture of a giant squid is dancing with algae. The colors go from a bright magenta pink, over orange, lime green towards teal, mint and dark blues.
The squid is attached to a vintage Kodak camera.

I intended this sculpture to be a snapshot of happiness. The squid is dancing wildly with the algae and frozen in that festive mood. The vintage camera is a wink to that frozen moment, a reminder that joy is fleeting and lived in the moment. It comes and goes and you have to grab it and enjoy it when it shows at your door.
