I stacked and carved four books into a small landscape, covering them in rainbow growth, inspired by a lush coral reef.
The title refers to the two words left from the carving on the first book.
”Comprendre Aujourd’hui” is french and means '“Understanding Today”, as in, understanding the current world. Which I found particularly fitting. The second title is “Bookscape #1”, as it’s the first of series of books carved into small landscapes.
