SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
SOLD (private collection)
Sculpture, 2017
Polymer clay, acrylics, wire, thrifted camera
11 H x 15 W x 12 cm
Eyed plants are popping out of a camera where the lens usually goes. Roles are inverted, plants are watching, observing humans and not the other way around.
This artwork also questions the concept of surveillance within our own societies under the pretense of safety.
