“Trio Infernal” is a trio of plastic bottles that I brought back from my travels. I tend to keep the trash I produce for future artworks and I especially like bringing back trash that has interesting shapes. One of these bottles actually comes from China and I had it in the studio for 5 years until I knew what to do with it. I keep the trash in a “trash drawer” so I can just go through the shapes and arrange something that picks my interest.
I then covered the three bottles in black paint and added coral reef inspired shapes with angel and butterfly fishes around.
