Dreamland Awaits

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to share the artwork I made for the Beautiful bizarre group show that is currently on view at Corey Helford Gallery, until May 31st.

I found this vintage clock at a local flea market last year and thought it would be a perfect fit for this show.
Decided to showcase the cycle of a butterfly, starting with a caterpillar, than a chrysalid and finally the butterfly.
The life cycle coincides with the time cycle of the clock, going in a circle around the object.

I went with a soft color scheme from teal to purple, pink and orange.
