Naia Museum

Nudibranch Party” is now on view and available through Naia Museum, in Rochefort-en-terre.
I originally created this artwork in 2020, but it fell and broke.
At that time I was experimenting with a clay that was hard but not flexible at all, so that could break if enough pressure was made to it.
I have since then adapted my technique and the materials I use to avoid that kind of breakage.

Eventually, I decided to repair this nudibranch and coral reef sculpture.
I cut out the broken pieces, redid those that might break and repainted everything.
The rainbow colors of the nudibranches and coral reef sculptures now pop even more on the black plastic bottle.

This artwork is on view at the Naia Museum, it is a small but stunning museum of fantastical and surreal art and I really love it. I’m so excited to finally join the collection of artworks they showcase.
You can see my work through the 2025 season, as they change and rotate their collection every year.
