Solo Show - Knowledge

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share a few pictures of my solo show at Beinart Gallery in Melbourne.
I had a great time meeting with everybody and talking about my work to people who showed interest.
Always nice for your ego when people like your work visually and intellectually.

Here the little text that I wrote for the exhibition:

Despite our extensive knowledge of our impact on the environment, our societies haven’t changed. Industrial production and consumption are at an all-time high, with industries generating new products daily to create “needs” we never had or wanted but suddenly lust after. Energy consumption also remains high, with green energy being added to other energies rather than reducing them.
Amidst our reckless and childish behaviour, nature is losing, with biodiversity at a rapid decline. Yet nothing is completely lost: ecosystems are highly elastic and adaptable, and so should humanity be as well.

A few of my pieces are still available on Beinart’s website.

I also want to give a bit of a shout-out to some fellow artists friends, some who I met, some whose show was at the same time.
Alvaro Naddeo had a solo show titled “IgnoRANT” that was top notch. Some of his works are still available.
I’ve been fan of his watercolor paintings for a long time and we became friends over instagram, so it was a real joy to see his work in flesh, although I would have preferred to grab a cup of tea with him as well :)
I also met Kane Kokaris, which whom I spend a great day in Melbourne. He was incredibly sweet and gave me one of his paintings! It’s the rose/octopus, great details! He’s extremely talented and I did not expect such a generous gift.
Finally I also met with Vipoo Srivilasa, a ceramic artist who always does very quirky, happy work. We had a lovely day as well.
