Two Layzan albatrosses meet again after a year of traveling the high seas.
The painting showcases a delicate rocky sea landscape that seems abandonned, in a gradient of colors going from teal, over blue to purple. The landscapes has been worked using a sucession of colored pencils and watercolors.
Albatrosses are loyal and long living birds.
The oldest known female is named Wisdom and as of creation of this artwork is thought to be about 74 years old.
