Blue Pine Tree

I have been keeping empty paint tubes for years now, knowing I wanted to do something with them eventually.
Recently decided to make mini sculptures around those paint tubes that I painted in fun metallic colors.
This one is on a pine tree trunk that has a dark brown base and the highlights are this beautiful impossible to capture purple leaning dark blue color.
Of course, there is a tiny beetle on its merry way, inhabiting this little world.
It’s rich in details and textures, just how I like to create my work and will keep you enthralled for a long time.
I envision this sculpture on a desk, just where you work, as a companionship almost.
